I love being a dietitian and advocate for my profession every chance I get.  As such, I am on the board of the Greater New York Dietetics Association (GNYDA) where I co-chair the cultural foods special interest group and serve as a member of the nominating committee. I was also on the board of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group for 3 years facilitating the Mentoring Program, to strengthen Dietitians’ professional development through mentorship.
